The National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy 2005
Thursday-Saturday, August 4-6
Pre-Conference Seminars: August 3
DoubleTree Hotel, Chicago-Oak Brook
(formerly Hyatt Regency Oak Brook)
Oak Brook, Illinois

Welcome to the conference
Again this year it is our privilege to share with you exciting news about the 2005 National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy.

Many of you were with us in 2001 when the Conference was reactivated, and again in 2003 when it grew even larger and better. Uplifted by the quality of these Conferences, and emboldened by the enthusiasm of your response, we have been hard at work ever since, insuring that plans for 2005 will only surpass what has gone before.

Here you will find details of an unusually varied and exciting program, conducted by an almost embarrassing array of outstanding leaders in our field, a preeminent keynote speaker, workshops led by experts, demonstration teaching of every type and level, discussion groups, and daily recitals ranging from students to world famous artists. The Conference will climax with the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to Nelita True.

We hope you will join us in Oak Brook for the Conference itself and for a stimulating day of Pre-Conference Seminars, one for independent teachers, one for those involved in college pedagogy programs, and a new Seminar designed for recent graduates and emerging teachers.

All of us look forward with great pleasure to sharing with you this unique musical and educational opportunity.
